Job Contents

The branding specialist will be part of the Marketing team to help take care of the “brand development” with the whole team to create, upkeep, manage a localized brand impression and personality of DiDi Food in Japan. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maximize and improve the efficiency of each branding activity based on a variety of data, leading to the success of the business.

  1. Build & upkeep brand health system: Based on the business stage, create seasonal and annual brand plan. Track the performance seasonally, with the feedback from target users, keep improving the brand core information to build and upkeep an identified brand for DiDi Food Japan.
  2. Drive seasonal branding campaigns: Set up a seasonal branding plan, working with the team to propose seasonal themes to maintain the brand actively. Come up with the seasonal stunts plan to keep and extend brand impact in the local market.
  3. Build & update brand guideline: Set up the basic brand guideline to help the team follow the same tone, standard from both visual and copies. Collect the feedback from users, related teams, to update the guidebook and systematize the key gates of DiDi Food brandin Japan
  4. Others
    • Be the driver in helping to organize, run and recap the status meetings as well as other critical checkpoints to facilitate integration and alignment with related functional teams.
    • Own budget planning & monthly accrual process in collaboration with whole marketing teams, monitor key market/ business trends, staying on top of competitive updates.
    • Provide ad hoc support, at times beyond the category, on brand heat videos, monthly marketing newsletter, QBRs, CSR, and in conducting desktop or consumer research, collecting strategic insights, preparing presentations for other critical meetings, coordinating/facilitating off sites, etc.

Preferred Skills

  • 3+ years of branding experience in a business company, preferred but not limited to the internet services, food or FMCG industry.
  • Solid account/project management experience and/or strategic planning background, being able to handle multiple projects, across different work streams at the same time in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • You are highly collaborative, establish trust, credibility, and influence across multiple partners in a highly matrix organization.
  • You are resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results oriented with high energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to contribute in a team environment.
  • You have experience supporting, understanding, and improving the creative process while balancing the needs of a creatively driven organization with an analytical and disclosed approach to marketing.
  • You are solutions-first thinker who can find opportunities to bring to the Apple business in the region.
  • You are passionate about popular culture, trends, and new/emerging media and technology.
